How to become a Key Clubber:

01

Fill out the Membership Application.

The membership application gives your Poway Key Club basic information about you that will become useful with your involvement with our club such as your e-mail and telephone number. The membership application must be downloaded, filled out, and returned to our current secretary at a weekly meeting in K-1 at lunch. Keep an eye out for the deadline, which will be announced at the meeting.

02

Fill out the Photo Release Form.

Here at key club, we take many photos to document service events and other ways of involvement. The photo release form allows us to share your photos via this website. The photo release form must be downloaded, filled out, and returned to our current secretary at a weekly meeting in K-1 at lunch. Keep an eye out for the deadline, which will be announced at the meeting.

03

Sign up for Volgistics.

Sign up for Volgistics at the link below. You must be signed up for this program and complete all the following steps (they will be emailed to you) in order to volunteer at any City of Poway events.

04

Turn in $15 dues.

Key Club asks for dues in the amount of $15. Dues will go towards Key Club International and the California-Nevada-Hawaii District. Dues can be turned into our current treasurer at a weekly meeting. Keep an eye out for the deadline, which will be announced at the meeting. If you cannot pay the $15, do not let this be the reason you don't join Key Club. Please talk to our Key Club President if this is your situation. We will be able to work something out with you.

05

Complete 30 hours of community service by the end of the year.

Key Club provides you with many chances to get your required 30 hours completed. With volunteering opportunities almost every weekend, you will plenty of time to get this done. 30 hours is required of you by the end of the year, which is approximately 10 months. Don't let this number intimidate you from joining Key Club!  If you do service work elsewhere from key club, you can also get credit towards your 30 hour requirement. There is an allotted maximum of 10 outside hours. Fill out the form found at the bottom of the 'Calendar & Events' tab and return to our secretary. Start your hours early, and don't wait until the end of the year to finish. Check out which upcoming events we have in the Calendar & Events tab and at our meetings!

06

Create Memories.

:) Step out of your comfort zone and just do it. Whatever you define "it" to be this year, make the best out of key club and make your high school years count--you only get to experience these four years once. If you have any questions, please email Michelle Sun at powaykeyclub@gmail.com.
